8X DVD-R Drives

I really want a DVD-R drive, but I want it to have atleast 32X CD-R burning. I noticed the 8X DVD+R's are this speed, but when are the 8X DVD-R's supposed to be out? Can anyone recomend a 4X DVD-R drive that can burn a CD-R at atleast 32X?

The 8X DVD burners already came out about a month or two ago.

It's difficult (if not impossible) to find a drive that burns both DVD+R and DVD-R at 8x; it seems to be one or the other.

newegg has a Plextor drive that claims to burn DVD-R at 8x, yet burns DVD+R at 4x.

I guess you'll need to decide which format your players support and go with it.
