Us Robotics
i was thinking of getting their router on their deal page... but don't know if they make a good product... and another question... its a 802.11g router... whats the difference with that one and a 802.11b router?

USR makes one of the faster ones, quite a bit faster than my Linksys.
![]() 802.11g has a max theoretical throughput of 54mbps, compared with 11mbps for 802.11b. In practice, I've only found it to be about 3x the speed of 802.11b.

whats the range of these wireless?.. like about how far can i go with good connection.. and would the 2.4 ghz really make a difference? its either i buy the us robotics wireless or the 2.4 ghz linksys... what do you rec?

802.11b and 802.11g both operate at 2.4GHz. It's the method of data modulation that differs between the two.
