Are VGA cooling fans quiet and as effective as stock fans?
The fans on both my radeon and my GF4 4200 are acting like they belong on a first generation GF-FX card. So, I removed the fans and stopped overclocking the cards.
Lately, my FX's fan has been sounding a little off balance, so I was thinking of picking up aftermarket cooling fans. My question: are they as effective as the stock fans and (more importantly) are they quiet and durable (quiet for more than 1 year)?
