Video Card Display error

So, I've got 2 systems at home:

1 Shuttle XPC SK41G + amd1800xp
1 tower w/ ECS L7VTA mobo + amd1800xp

That's probably all you need to help me diagnose my video card issue. Before I was using my GeForce 5200 vid card in my Shuttle XPC. It worked wonders for several weeks then over the weekend every time I got to the main Windows Logon screen, I would get green and black lines everywhere.

At first I thought it was my memory so I tested each piece individually. Same vid error occured.

I took out the vid card and plopped it into my tower machine. All the RAM and the video card worked perfectly.

I tried using my old Hercules card in my Shuttle XPC and that worked fine. I also tried using the onboard video, again, no problems.

My question is simple. Why would my GeForce 5200 be causing such terrible issues when it's in my Shuttle XPC?

I was hopin you'd say it was an AMD issue...

Seriously, I think it could be a power issue. I know those Shuttles have weak little PSUs. I don't think thats it though becuase people have been known to use 9800pro in them fine.

I'm thinking it could be a power supply issue, but there's only a DVD drive and Hard drive connected.

Maybe it is overheating. Is there any way i can check to see if the card itself is overheating when I plug it in. Furthermore, any reason why it would work initially and then fail to work if this was indeed overheating?

Yeah, I tried my old Hercules card and it worked fine. Computers are the devil!

I dont think it's seated right. Check the agp port and leave the machine completely open while testing.
