COmputer won't work, can't take off heatsink
I have an athlon 1800, on an ecs k7s5a board. I switched the motherboard/cpu to a new case, with a new video card and hard drive, and it won't even post anymore. I was trying to move the cpu to my other computer, to see if the cpu is broken, but I can't get the damn thing off! I've been trying to take it off for the past 2 days, so if it wasn't broken before, I think I broke it now. I moved the heatsink around quite a bit and bent the motherboard from trying to pry the heatsink out. Has anyone else had problems with this? It's really frustrating me. I still want to take it off...does anyone know any resources of how to get it off? It's a thermaltake heatsink.

I'd go to thermaltakes site and find your exact heatsink, then look at the instructions. Could be a moot point by now tho'.
