Dell 15 inch flat screen power doesn't come on
My friend just moved into a house and found a black dell 15 inch flat screen monitor in the attic. I took it home to test it out, connected the power cord from my monitor to it and plugged it into my computer. When I hit the power button nothing happens. Is it junk now or what?

Can you put another video cable on it? Maybe the power cord from your monitor is too loose a fit?
By flatscreen do you imply it's LCD? Try calling Dell service on it, maybe you'll get lucky and they have the S/N on record and it's still on warranty. One can always hope.

Good advice. I will try contacting dell about it. Yeah I mean LCD. Sorry. I guess it's flat when compared to my 19 inch VS CRT, lol.
