Just Burned a DVD+R at 8x... yee haw.
Got a Lite-On 812S... and burned my first dvd (the +r that came with it) at 8x. 8 minutes open to close.
Created a .iso with DVD shrink. Then burned away. It was terriffic. I'll get some more media today (4x perhaps). Maybe I'll burn the -r disc, too... to see if it plays in my player.  Dave. |

i've had my 8x for a good 2 months now...i've yet to burn a coaster...
alas, i can't find any good + cheap 8x media
