Value Mobo/CPU Combo

I'm looking for a good, stable motherboard + processor.

I have a stick of 512mb PC3200, I just need a $100-$130 mobo/cpu combo to get me by until the 64 bit stuff comes out and I can afford it.

So, which motherboard and cpu would you go with? AMD/Intel, who cares.

I'd prefer that newegg has it in stock and ready to go.

One that will last you at least a year or more is the Gigabyte GA-7NNXP. It is very feature rich and has both IDE and SATA RAID options. I just got one for my new system I'm putting together (I'm waiting for the AMD64 chipsets to settle down again before I go that route too). It's a bit more, but it was worth it for me since I have an existing 2x80GB RAID already and I wanted a relatively easy migration.

It's listed at newegg here: http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProduc...128-190&depa=0

$150 is a tad high.. I'm thinking $130 for cpu AND mobo.

SATA, RAID, all that is not needed. LAN and audio would be nice.

Here is the manufacturer's link to this board: http://usa.asus.com/products/mb/sock...x/overview.htm

You could pair that with either the 2200+ processor which they have (retail package includes heatsink and fan plus 3 year warranty) for $67 or for five bucks more get the 2400+ retail package which I have. Asus is famous for good, stable boards.
