anyone know where i can get circuit board components?

my dad's dry cleaning machine is dying, and he knows that it's a problem with a couple voltage regulators...

he read me off the numbers on the regulators themselves, but i'm having trouble finding the exact ones...

any engineers or engineering students know where they get their components?

if it helps, the numbers off the components:

lt1003
ck
9111

h9024a
lm340kc-15
7815ck

i know this is a long shot, but thanks in advance

I thought Fry's Electronics sold things like that, but maybe I'm wrong. If there is one in Maryland near you, give them a call. They might be able to help.

I assume you've checked with Radio Shack already? They carry a surprising array of parts, but some have to be special ordered.

Here are some other places to try:

Try Radio Shack. You can even pick up a great set of Realistic Speakers while you're there.

well if you can figure it out at Fry's I'm sure someone will offer to send it to you. Perhaps when I receive my White Elephant from you I'll use that box to send those parts back to you

Newark or Digikey are the online parts retailers I have purchased from in the past with no problems.

Digikey is at www.digikey.com

Here are the specs for one of your voltage regulators:

http://www.linear.com/pdf/lt1003.pdf

http://www.cascadesurplus.com//catal...roducts_id/774

And here it is on Cascade's ebay store:

Hope this helps you out!
