Athlon 64 and mobo
There is this good deal on a Athlon 64 .. i'm tempted to get it...
but i dunno if i should wait for a major price drop in a socket 939 and for motherboards... should i go with the nforce3 or a the via chipset?

The VIA 64 boards are far above the Nforce3, which pains me to say. Its true however.
