Move external Raid question

Hi,
If I have a external Raid attached to server A with a PCI Raid controller Card, Can I move the Raid controller card to server B, and attach the raid to it without lossing existing raid configurations??

Theoretically, since the RAID is controlled by the card you should be able to. I've never tried it, and for SURE you want to back up all of your data before you do it, but it should work.
