Olympus c-50 with PT-014 pictures

i took these on my honeymoon last week in roatan honduras with my 5.0 MP olympus C-50 Zoom & the PT-014 underwater housing.

These were originally taken at hi res, but shrunk down to a decent level for the web. no retouching or color correction was done yet. these were taken in about 20ft of water with no zoom while snorkeling. (wife isnt certified for scuba yet )

i took about 300 or so underwater pics on the trip. i am post more later.

no, you will need a pt-024:

you can get it off ebay for a much better price. Thats how I got mine. Just make sure you get it from an authorized reseller in case you ever have any problems (like leakage). These are meant for diving, so they are very durable, and have a maximum depth of around 140 feet.

This is the best price I have seen for the PT-024:

The price seems kinda steep at first, but on the islands, the disposable 35mm cameras were going for 12-20 each, then you need to expose them. I was taking about 100 pictures per day, so thats about 4 cameras, or $48 plus processing. Over 3 days of snorkeling, it paid for itself. Plus people are amazed when you show them what you just took underwater.
