9800 pro help!~!!!
so I just installed the new catalysis for my 9800 pro.
The first time I've upgraded the new catalysis since I got my vid card!!!  yes...yes...I know I should have done it sooner...but I was lazy. Do tell is there any special way I have to install it? Because I installed it and it's giving me a error message "CLI.exe appication error" "the appication failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on to terminate the appication" HELP ME OUT....my vid card still works...and so does HL2. The only reason why I installed the new catylsis is because of hl2....but it gives me this message everytime I start up my comptuer!!! I want it to go away!!! HELP

Did you uninstall the old drivers first? Do you have .Net Framework installed?

Or you can get the ones with the ATI control pannel instead of the Catalyst control pannel- that does not require the dot net framework.

That's why I still use 4.9 Catalyst instead of 4.11.

There's a 4.12 beta that's out that was designed specifically for HL2. Do a search.
