Burt out pixel on LCD?

So, I plug in my BRAND new Dell e153fp 15" LCD to make sure it works ok before I take it apart for my projector...
On a black, blue, green, or brown screen there is a single RED pixel. On a white screen you can not see it. I assume this is a burnt out pixel? What a POS.

Technically, it's a STUCK pixel...try massaging the area on and around the pixel. Sometimes this will bring them back to life. If you want to look for other dead pixels, try the Monitors Direct Calibrator. Don't get mad if you find some that you never would have noticed otherwise, though.

That was nice of them to take it back with one dead. I bought a new NEC and it came with 1 white pixel in the middle. The place I got it from online wouldn't do anything for me since they allow up to 4 to be bad before its defective as per the manufacturer.
