So a I got a new/used laptop, what now?

A friend gave me a old Gateway solo 2000 laptop. It is 100 mgz, 32 megs of ram, 1.3 gig hd, 11.3 in screen. Has 2 pcmcia, no usb, 1 serial, 1 parallel, 1 vga out, a floppy, and cdrom. Works and boots into 98. Now any fun ideas or anything neat I can do with it. I have a wireless card pcmcia, tempted to make a netstumbler laptop, but the battery dead. Anything else I could use it for around the house. I am going to move in with my bro next week into a fairly large house, So I am tempted to put VNC client on there and be able to control the TV PC we have and the music PC.

Any suggestions would be great.

In-car GPS.... but you'd have to check mapping software for computer requirement.
