Hey, I have two ABit motherboards (NF7-S and AN7) and both Northbridge fans are on their way out. Actually, the NF-7's fan died and the chip may have died with it but that is beside the point. I have replaced a NB fan before (on my old Abit KF7A, whose fan died too == this is REALLY a problem with ABit, their fans suck) but these two new boards have a different type of screw holding the fan down. They are white plastic screws that recess a bit if yo upress on them but don't seem to unscrew. I've tried like everything and I can't get them off, does anyone know how you are supposed to?
thanks

this is gonna sound like a pain but if they are the ones i think you are talking about, there is protruding plastic on the bottem that you have to push in to get them out. if it is easy enough to get the board out i would look at that. hope this helps
