I've been using Leadtek Winfast Expert for almost a year. No problem whatsoever and they update the driver and application relatively more frequently.

Are you talking about the special Windows XP Media Center edition? If you are then I am sure there is a short list of tv tuners that will actually work with it....

I'm using the Asus TV tuner and I have no complaint so far (hardware wise). The included software sucks though because I could only watch TV in full screen. I wish Asus would package its TV tuner card with PowerVCR+.

It used to... I guess you got in too late on it.

But if THAT is your only complaint... then why not just go to SoftwareOutlet.com and pick up a copy of PowerVCR+ for like $10?

That is correct. Check out Anandtech's Roundup of MCE-compatible TV tuner cards for a good idea of what card to get/not get.

I don't know man... I never saw a lot of use for a tuner card before (glances at my tv mounted in the corner). Especially since I got my DVR cable box, I see no reason to watch tv on a 24" monitor instead of my 61" tv...

I could see it if you're in a college dorm and have no tv... but otherwise, why would you prefer it?

I see that most of the tuner cards have S cable. I thought you needed a cable coax. Does this mean you have to run a long s video cable from the TV back to where your PC is?
