In the advanced settings for your geforce 6x00 .. and I would imagine the 7x00 series cards, there is a temperature monitoring utility thingy.
Does anyone know if there is a way to modify the "Core Slowdown Threshold" setting? Mine is for some reason defaulted to 127 degrees C... which last time I check was around ~300F ..An absolutely unacceptable temperature, and probably beyond the physical limits of the silicon and other materials. Yeah.. I'd like to know if my card was anywhere near 60C.. or 70C so I could 'drop it like its hot'.... heh.. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone knows of a way of changing this setting or related settings for GPU's. TYIA ~Kyle
