Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum, but i have a good question. Does anyone know where I can get PCI expansion hardware? I need more slots. I've looked around and found info, but I can't find any information on how to order. Did I just miss it? I would apreciate any help you could give. Thank you very much.

They actually have that? I'm curious as to how that would fit on the motherboard and in the case.

Yeah, I'm not sure if something like this exists.

Ok, here's what I know so far. They do have pci expansion cards. They go into one of the onboard pci slots and connect to an external tower with its own power supply and fan and all that. In the little tower there are pci slots. The ones I saw had either 4, 7, or 13 extra slots. I have seen the manufacturer's websites, but I haven't been able to find a distrbuitor. One company that makes them is Aurora Technologies. http://www.auroratech.com Another is SBS Technologies. http://www.sbs.com/cp_expansion.shtml I guess they aren't a real common thing, and probably aren't for personal use. Like I said, if anyone knows anything about where i can get one of these, or even an easy way to have more PCI slots to my computer, I would really apreciate it. Thanks guys.

I'd guess that those things wouldn't be cheap, not if they need their own case and power supply...a better motherboard might be a better solution...certainly cheaper.

You might be better off getting a new mobo. I didn't see how much those things were, but it would be easy to say more than $200. You can get a very nice new mobo for that or less.
