umm little help with antennae
Hello friends,
So after my wireless router wasn't working so well i started figeting with the antennae to see if something was wrong... well i pretty much busted it in half... .so now something is wrong.. I want to replace the antennae if possible and not bother to get a whole new router... but the wire seems to be slightly sliced. So i imagien this means i'm opening the thing up and operating my self..Any ideas or suggestions before i get stupid and break the thing in my attempt to fix it? Thanks, Mark

I thought you can unscrew the antennae so no opening up is needed. I looked up replacement antennae but they are those high gain ones you use to replace the one already attatched. Plus they cost a lot and for that cost you might as well but a new wireless router. I'll keep looking buy microcenter usually has replacements parts like that as far as I know.

Some unscrew, some don't. Depends on the router.
Here is a good place to get replacement parts - http://www.demarctech.com/ Give them a call or send an e-mail - they're very helpful. |
