WOOT... I'm lovin the speed of the RAPTOR!
I just got in on the TigerDirect deal for a 74GB Raptor drive for $99.99 after MIRs and I just got it installed.
Wow... what a difference! Boots up fast as hell and iit does appear that my system overall is reacting faster. BTW... I'm sure glad I have Norton Ghost 2003/9.0 ... I was able to restore my full PC configuration using a clone of the previous drive in about 20 mins. Gotta love it!  For folks who already have this drive... I've heard that it can get pretty hot. Any experience with that? Personally, I'm not taking any chances, so I went to Fry's today and got a Vantec drive cooler for about $29.99 with a crossover fan. Right now the drive is hummin' along at 28 degrees C with the case temp at 28.5 C. Now that's "cool"

My system's got the WD 74gb raptor and it loads couple of seconds in battlefield 2.. You can see the difference!
