Dell 630m vs. XPS M140
Is there a hardware difference between the 630m and the XPS M140? It seems like the are basically the same laptop with different into configs....

They're the same machine. Get the 630 - you'll be able to get the same config for less $$.

true. you have to order it from the small business side of the house though.
i was going to get one of those the other day, but for a couple of days you couldn't order the 600m with a pentium, only a celeron. that and the fact they had a free 9 cell battery upgrade caused me to go for the xps. i just configured the same specs on the 600m and it was $100 less. that kind of pisses me off because they told me the other day that the 600m would be no longer available with a pentium. plus, from the pictures, the case for the 600m looks a litle sleeker.
