I'm looking to get separate components for my overall surround sound "experience" I want to buy a center channel first. I found at Outpost the Klipsch RC3B center model
http://shop1.outpost.com/product/T8323/ I was wondering if that is a decent price on that. I dont' know too much about this kind of stuff.... so I was wondering if you guys would know a better center channel speaker for about that price or cheaper. I originally wanted the Energy take5 package w/ the 8 inch woofer... I found the whole package for $500 but now it's not available at the site anymore... so I'm screwed. The Klipsch Quintets are pretty interesting.. they have the set w/ out the woofer for $500... Is that decent too? Thanks Oh yea.. btw... I have the Sony str845.. that has 100w x 5... but the Klipsch Center is 150 watts maximum continuous. Will that have any effect if I decide to get that speaker? (my reciever does NOT have continuous 100w power either.) I also found another center channel speaker... it's the Bose VCS10 for $199. Wondering if that is a decent speaker also. link : http://www.jandr.com/JRProductPage.p...519&showcase=t [Edited by Heihachi on 04-02-2001 at 04:49 PM] |
