disabling macrovision is not what you may call a common feature. i'm pretty sure it is specific to the early Apex 600A--i suppose i could be wrong, though. Oh wait, i'm never wrong.

Seems like I recall the raite is made by the same people that make the apex. Check out the links I posted in the other thread and see if you can verify that. Sorry, I just don't have the time right now. I'll try later....

I did some looking around and this is what I came up with. If you have the right version, you can disable the macro.
These people will do it for you... http://www.dvd-wizards.com/raite715/default.htm Or you can try it with the menu codes listed here... http://regionhacks.datatestlab.com/u...ML/000408.html Do a search on http://www.google.com for raite macrovision disable . I did and got a heap of responses. Let me know if you get it to work ok? |

I did a search on Yahoo: Raite Macrovision and found a site
that had a solution with the software to do it!!! I tried it and it worked, Hooray!!! No more Macrovision on my Raite AVphile 715!!!! Last time I searched I could not find anything. Thanks all for your responses. Got Apex forums rule. Posting in them has enhanced my sex life ten fold!!! http://www.his.com/~pgomes/upgrade.htm |
