I want to buy a 16x9 projection HDTV around 50" or so for around $2500.00

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I've been out of the TV loop for about 15 years now and have NO IDEA what features to look for or who makes the better sets.

The few sites that i've found that review TV's have been of little use.
