I have set it up to do a few things so far and I think its great. lots of features i would have never thought about. It allowed me to reduce 3 remotes that I used daily to just 1.

Anyone else have one of these?

I read some reviews on the JBL remote that was a 'deal' yesterday and they seemed to pretty much blow. I was looking for the rm-vl1000 from sony, but i couldnt get it for less than $60 shipped.

I have got that one and love it. It eats batteries about every two months for me(moderate use). I like the macros. Take a day and set all the keys and make sure you put the custom keys (bottom of the touchscreen) in the order you will use them the most since you will have to scroll through the screen to get to em. Once that is done, take all the batteries out of your old remotes so they dont get corroded and throw the remotes all into a drawer.

I got mine for <$100 from a friend who works at best buy.

I got an IR reciever for my home theater computer and use the remote and girder to control it. Its pretty fun.

I have the one below that the 2100, Love the thing. Wanting to upgrade to a pronto though or. . . make a custom one myself, hehe.

I have the same remote and its great except for the size. I don't think I'll upgrade untill I can score a pronto for good price.
