When a few $30,000 Krell Master Reference Subwoofers aren't Enough
What happens when you've outgrown your 4 Krell Master Refererence Subwoofers (at 400lbs & $30,000 a piece)?

The ultra high end systems literally have a sealed room in the house dedicated for the subs only.

Now thats a sub project! I liked the part about 50-75 screws being left over from a box of 1,500.
Are the author's comments accurate that baltic or marine plywood is better for building subs than MDF? I always thought MDF was the first choice because it didn't have voids. |

BB and Marine grade Plywood are both voidless as well, and both stiffer.
