Okay, what is the best multidisk DVD player for under $200? I want it to be progressive scan, have great picture and be able to play MP3s, DVDR+- DVDRAM ...etc. In other words, it has to be compliant with a lot of different media. Also, has to have the optical output and all of the other fancy connection.
Any advice/help/links are greatly appreciated. I have to replace the DVD player that someone stole from my house that belonged to my folks! Thanks,

Thanks for the suggestion, I just bought a Panasonic CP67 based on what I read there. There were some really good reviews and most of all it plays MP3s from DVD+Rs |

I bought a JVC 502 and I'm very happy with it. The spec says that it only reads DVD-R/RW but in facts it read DVD+R also.
