To all repairman or electricians...

Alright I have a problem stereo that I am trying to fix for somebody...the problem is that the power keeps cutting off by itself but I took it apart and it has 3 fuses, one for the main power and I guess the other two for the speakers...I have noticed that when I disconnect the two that I mentioned it allows me to power it on and use all the features, but the problem is that when I play the speakers it sounds real distorted and inaudible, which give me reason to believe that it is from those two fuses. If anybody is familiar with this, some assistance would be greatly appreciated...
