DVD Suggestions
I just got a RPTV and I have decided to stop using the X-box as my DVD player. I am looking for a progressive scan DVD player that can also play SACD's.
I was @ best buy this weekend and saw a Sanyo box that supposedly upconverts 480P to 720P and 1080i but I'm not too sure how well that works. Any advice would be appreciated. |

If your RPTV is not a HDTV compatible you unlikely would benefit from the upconversion.
There is a common agreement in A/V community that the Pioneer DV-563A is the best inexpensive 5-channel CD/ SACD / DVD /DVD-A player on the market. It's around $150-$170 from the Net or from your local Circuit City store. |

The TV is an HDTV. Thanks for the suggestion. I will research the Pioneer.

So I went with the Bravo D-1 should be here next week. I guess now I'll have to get a CD player to play SACD's
