Bad Channel in Receiver

At my buddy's house, someone was painting the walls of his den. They must have moved his cabinet which contain his receiver, CD player, etc.
The speakers wouldn't work. It appeared that the wires from the receiver to the speakers were stretched and then broke.

We got one of the channels to work for last week's football games. The other one appears dead.

Maybe the connection internally to that channel in the receiver is broken.

Big or little job to repair?
