i was wondering if anyone had one of the lyra A/V jukebox rd2780. I just got one and am having a small problem. if you have one let me know...thanks!

well i just took it out of the box, and it wont turn on. the battery appears to be installed inside, and is not accessible. I plugged it into the wall with the power adapter and still nothing. I also pushed the little reset button. Is it possible that it would need to charge for multiple hours before I could even turn it on or does it sound like something could be wrong with it?? thanks for any help!

Yes, with all devices, you must charge the battery FULLY before first use. It's a huge pain because you want to play with it right away, but you gotta wait

Devices I've had to wait for:
Pocket PC
Digital Camera
etc.

i ended up returning it because after charging it for a full day, it still didnt power on, my new one should be here on wednesday!!

The unit should definately power up after plugging it in -- after all, it would be running on AC power then.
