Pip / Pop

Need help with PIP / POP. I purchased a phillips Plasma with a single tuner. I was under the impression that I could use this tuner along with a cable box to utilize pip/pop. I can't seem to make it work. Do I need another source such as a VCR?

Any help would be appreciated.

I think you're supposed to get a cable signal splitter. Run one from the cable box to the tv. Then run the other cable directly to the tv.
