Need upscaling DVD player with signal to LCD
Im looking for a good upscaling DVD player that has an appropriate output so I can hook it straight into an LCD montior. (DVI or VGA i was thinking)
Any that support this? If not, what is the best method to connect it to an LCD monitor?

Ok, let me qualify my question. I would like to know the cheapest model which can do this, and secondly the best one that is under $300 or in that range. Somehow I dont think this is under $300...
How much is that unit btw? |

The Panasonic DVD-S97S is a good choice for about $250. There are some cheaper choices, but nothing as good.
The Simmetry is $9k. |

One more question... How do I convert the HDMI signal to VGA or DVI to go as an input into an LCD monitor? |

You can buy an HDMI to DVI cable. They're reasonably cheap.
VGA, you're on your own.  |
