Here's the system my dad and I have/will be getting during christmas
Denon AVR-3805 4x B&W 602 S2 1x B&W LCR60 S3 Right now we're doing subwoofer research, but are totally lost! Here's two I'm looking at, but I really don't have a good idea what is good: Paradigm Seismic 12 & SVS PB12-Plus/2 I've been told to get something around the 1000 Watt range. My budget is $1000-1500 Any help would be greatly appretiated! ![]() |

1000-1500 for the sub
check out audioreview, and see what people had have to say about different subs Since you are getting B&W what about the B&W ASW 675 I am a big fan of the SVS PC Ultra http://www.svsubwoofers.com/subs_pc_ultra.htm or a sunfire true series |

When I was looking, I kept seeing two names- HSU and SVS. I went with Hsu because of my budget and physical (neighbors) constraints and am not disappointed. I don't think you could go wrong with either. That budget will get you an awsome sub! Both are online companies.

Paradigm PW2100 was what i went with, we have a very similar setup to what you are going to be running with. The sub puts out an amazing amount of bass for it's size and it's range is outstanding. I realize that it's less expensive then the ones you were looking at, but it was one of the best descisions that we made when building up the theater.

It looks like we'll be going to ken krane fo see the b&w 675 and Paradigm PW2100 hopefully somewhere local. Thanks for the advise everyone =) |

A subwoofer is actually fairly easy to hide. Low frequencies are less directional so you can place your sub just about anywhere in the room like in a corner or next to a chair or sofa. Some are also available in different colors or finishes. I use mine like a pedistal and put a large plant on top of it. That is also why I went cube for mine.
