Optimum Viewing Distances from TVs
I was reading a small article concerning the ideal viewing distances from a TV. I am not sure if it also concerned computer monitors.
It stated that 3 times the screen size is the minimum distance and 6 times is the maximum. So if that also applies to computer monitors, then I should sit 45 inches away from a 15" screen or 51 inches away from a 17" screen? I don't think so.

Nah, doesn't apply at all.
In terms of for HDTV though, this is the best calculator I've found: http://www.myhometheater.homestead.c...alculator.html
