Home Theatre Furniture in So Cal?

Does anyone know a good place to go check out HDTV furniture rather than online? I need a table to support a large 50 inch LCD atleast to a height of 36 inches (at the bottom). A lot of the funiture I have seen at Best Buy are too low. I would consider going up to LA to check it out if I had to, but prefer to stay in SD and OC. Any ideas?

Thanks!

You can try "Tweeters" or "Dream Home Theater" in Solona Beach, SD.
Good luck.

It's very hard to find a TV stand higher than 30". Bello might make some though but they are expensive.

I recall seeing a nice piece at circuit city that allowed you to stack the tv stands. The usual is a 2 stack, but if you bumped it to 3....

I would call around before you go driving all around. The Costco in my area had some TV stands that other day. I don't know if they were quite 36", but they were high.

Last suggestion is a hand-built wooden platform to rest the tv stand on.
