LG LST-3510A HDTV Receiver + DVD Player on Deals Page

So this thing is supposed to capture OTA HD broadcast signals. Does that mean I can watch HDTV free without subscribing to any cable service? If I used the DVI connection with my 24" Dell monitor, how would it look compared to as on a digital TV?

yes. as long as you get good OTA reception, you should be able to get your OTA local broadcast channels. it would look great on your 24" dell monitor.

Just a tip on that unit. They have a reputation of DVD player problems - something about issues handling tracks and freezing-up. Mind you, being refurbished units - the unit you get may have had the problem addressed.
