This thing is fan-damn-tastic. Nice complement to the Hitachi 57 rear-projection upstairs in the playroom. Great picture and fits perfectly in the entertainment center.

Gotta say... Sammys are the best bang for the buck anymore when it comes to HDTV's, especially their quality DLPs. I was a little leary when I bought my 5685, but I'm happy with it and only have minor gripes. Wish I would have waited a year to get the 1080P, but alas, instant gratification is nice =).

I'm going to run up and down the stairs during the game -- switching between the Hitachi and Samsung.

Heh heh... I just picked up the HL-R5678 myself. (Same screen, different frame.) It looks great, even on my old, crappy composite cables. All the new cables are on the way, and I can't wait to see how much better it looks!

The "68"s, "78"s and "88"s are 1080P. The newer models (until May).
