Surround Speaker Stands
Can anybody recommend some cheap yet sturdy surround speaker stands? I want something that's not light and flimsy, and I'd like the speakers to be clamped/secured to the stand in some way, cause I know I'll be moving it around a lot and people are gonna be walking near it.
The dimensions of the speakers are 8"H x 6"W x 7"D each. I'd like the stand to reach 5' high or taller. Last edited by ArkiStan : 02-23-2006 at 09:58 PM. |

I bought mine from Walmart. They have some cast iron stands that are under $25 last time I checked.
You might have to "rig" the clamp depending on where your surrounds have mounting brackets.

I took DF's recommendation a long time ago, and got the same stands. They are pretty decent. Go check 'em out.

![]() Not to say that the Walmart ones are not of "good quality" for holding up some PC surround sound speakers (i.e. under 5 lbs) and whatnot. |
