how do I get my vcar to output my LCDTV's native resolution?

this is an onboard nvidia 6150
when i input 1366x768....it said its not possible

btw...i just got my dvi cable
so i'm using it to connect between my moniter and vcard

also there's something funny about this mb

when I connect my pc speaker.. it produces sound
when i connect it to my tv... theres no sound

i use the same connection... and connect my old pc to tv.. theres sound

i connect my old pc. .. with pc speaker.. sound

why can't i get my new pc to play sound on my lcdtv?

if i can't get nvidia to do native resolution... is there someting i can use to do it?

Go to Properties and set up your TV as HDTV not a LCD TV.

Actually, you have it backwards. He should set it up (in nView Display Settings>>Device Settings) as an LCD TV since it's not one of the HDTV resolutions (I've never heard of 768P).

How are you changing the resolution? Are you in the Custom Resolutions settings in the nVidia tab? I think you are. Double check the capabilities of your display. It may not take "768P" over DVI. Try uninstalling your video drivers, rebooting, disabling your antivirus, and installing the latest drivers.
