Sandisk seems to be running a little empl0yee test coupon on their new sansa store with the taketv device as the subject... (you can see the device here - www.take.tv - it's a USB flash drive with a DVD player chip inside that plays videos from the PC on the TV, with support for xvid, divx, etc... - so you don't need to burn opticals anymore...) - it looks like a 20% off test coupon which brings the 8GB taketv to $119.99 instead of $149.99 and the 4GB to $79.99 instead of $99.99... shipping is about $4 and I didn't see anything asking for validation... it just goes through... this gizmo works on practically any TV and you can also download TV shows from the new sandisk www.fanfare.com website.
I don't know how many uses this coupon has or how long it will take for the folks over at sandisk to pick up on the fact that this bird has flown the nest, but there's only one way to find out... Link - http://go.shopsansa.com/Customers/sa...ml/taketv.html test code: TakeTV4EMP220 (seems to work on both 4 and 8GB!) |
