I'm really so to inform you of this but my own experience and everything I've read indicate that AW Surveys is a paid survey scam. They're famous for non-payment, deleating accounts and not responding to members after failing to payout as requested. Please do a search for "AW Survey Scam" before participating in their program and hopefully, you'll avoid being cheated like I was. Take care and best of luck to you MissMonty!

They are not a scam. Followw the rules and you'll get paid.
I got paid 3 times($150)
Most of the money that you make is from referrals. You get only one survey every month.

They pay some members & not others. It's completely your call and I can only tell you what I've read. If you're interested - check out http://www.awsurveyscam.com for further information. The issues with AW Surveys are mentioned in the comments section and there's also a petition where former members are posting. According to a Report by GPT Boycott:

"The first reason that AWSurveys is on the boycott list is simply the non-payment of members. The complaints below detail how members who have reached the minimum payout amount are not being paid according to the site's own Terms of Service. Support e-mails have not been responded to, members have not been paid, and so this program rightly belongs on the boycott list.

The second reason that AWSurveys is boycotted is the use of deceptive business practices. Many of our complainants note that upon reaching the minimum payment amount, or close to it, their account has been closed or suspended for "cheating", violation of Terms, or without reason. Others have found it impossible to take any more surveys once they have earned a certain figure, below the minimum payment amount. It is clear that this practice is too widespread among our complainants to be attributed solely to real cheating or accidental breaches of the site's Terms. The practice of accusing members of cheating in order to withhold payments is both deceptive and dishonest, and must not be tolerated. For this second reason, therefore, AWSurveys is a boycotted site!"
