Going Platinum really is a free ISP that will open for business next week (January 15th). There unique program is set up to pay you for your participation on line. You also get a percentage based on the other users that you sign up.
You and your friends can sign up for free. Thats nada, nothing, zilch... FREE. The ISP portal will be like AOL and Yahoo combined... only better. In the sign up process you will be offered several different choices of how you want to receive your payments... like PayPall, Check, E-gold, Cash-Link, Etc. Also included in the options is direct deposit to your CompuBank account. If you don't already have a CompuBank account then you will get a $50.00 reward for opening an account. Thats free money! Sign up today at... http://www.goingplatinum.com/member/jim1850 Its FREE! Jim

Jim,
I think everyone here has heard of Going Platinum one time or another. It's so widely advertised that it seems to me like it is majorly 'watered down', or soon to be in the months to come... SonyGuy |

Hey SonyGuy
I don't get it. What are you saying, exactly?
Did I post in the wrong area? I thought I read the title of this forum correctly before I made my post. Did I step on someones toes... like maybe another Going Platinum member that has already staked a claim on this forum? If so then I apologize. I wasn't told that this forum was private. You state that everyone in here has heard of Going Platinum. Thats great, but, how many of you fine folks have really looked into it? How many just blew it off as just another get rich quick scheme that "can't possibly work"? Hey, you may be right but what if you're wrong? The sign up is free so what is the downside? What is the possible... I say probable... upside? If I am not welcome here then the moderator will tell me and I will apologize and disappear very quickly. Jim |

Hey SonyGuy
I think I misjudged you. I thought you was older. After checking out some of your other posts I think I was obviously wrong. Sorry.
To let everyone know, the Going Platinum program accepts members of all ages. However, if you are under 13 you have to have your parent(s) sign a permission form. My grandson is in the program and he is 14. One of the posts talked about a program that would only be accepting 3 million members and they had around 750,000 at the time of the post. Going Platinum is expected to reach at least 25 million and right now there is less than 200,000 members. So, I have to disagree that it is watered down. The other programs that I saw on here was rather meager. With earnings of $3.00 per day, $5.00 per day, $50.00 bonus per sign up... and the real kicker was... the deal that would pay you in cash OR stock options at IPO (initial public offering). The Going Platinum program is setup to have people earning $80,000 per MONTH. At this stage in the sign up process you and I will probably not reach that level. Around $5,000 to $10,000 per month is probably where we would get to. Thats better than the other programs I saw on here. Let me know if I can help anyone sign up for FREE! Jim |

I'm certainly old enough to sign up for Going Platinum, and old enough to participate in anything that requires a certain age limit such as 18. I just think that with all of the advertisements of Going Platinum, people will be tired of hearing of this service and pass right over the offer and on to another one. I look to new programs that not many people have heard of because there is a greater chance of convincing people to jump aboard and it's easier to keep their attention if they know nothing about it. Just my opinion.
SonyGuy P.S.-No, you haven't violated any rules and regulations of this board or stepped on any toes. You are free to "Spam" as they call it and offer any kind of service you want. |

Thanks SonyGuy,
I feel better now knowing that I haven't broke any rules or stepped on any toes. I just hope I didn't offend you with my age comments. I certainly meant no offense. The first member to sign up with Going Platinum did so on October 5th, 2000. So it is a fairly new program. As I said before, there is estimated to be a little less than 200,000 members now and the real program doesn't even start until January 15th. The reason that the program is being advertised so heavy is because the potential income is so great. Two levels above me is a lady that lives with her husband and 3 year old son in a small town in Australia. I have no idea who the person in between is. Anyway, she has such a large number of members under her that she will make a minimum of $10,000 per month starting January 15th. When that day arrives and the free ISP can touched and felt and logged onto there will be a lot of people signing up by whatever means they can (referrals, corporate website, whatever). All sign ups that sign up directly with the company will be distributed out and placed in the downlines of current members. So whoever gets in now will be in line to reap that benefit. You know about MLMs and you know how to market them. You are a natural for Going Platinum. I've never been in MLM marketing and I'm having to learn what to do. I started December 6th and I have 63 in my downline. I don't know if that is real good or real bad but I give it my best. I just wish that you would take the time to go to my website and read the program and then make your decision about it. Judging something as bad when you've never seen it isn't a very responsible thing to do. |

Be nice, Folks! No reason to get into a tiff. Both of you took the other's comments wrongly. Neither initially intended to be confrontational.
As for Going Platinum, I've checked it out and I don't really believe there is a way to make money with it. They deduct a monthly fee from your earnings regardless of any activity. There are many MLMs out there and I must say this is not one of the ones I'd consider. I urge everyone to really read the fine print and do the math on this one, especially before they pay any money to the "optional" option. I'm one of the most open-minded individuals out there and I participate in a wide variety of reward programs and MLM like programs, but I really smell a scam with this one. I don't often say that. Hi Maggie,
Thank you for your comments. As you may know Going Platinum has postponed their launch date from January 15th to "some day soon". With this in mind I do NOT think that the buy-in option is the way to go right now. However, I still feel that the "get in for free" is a good thing. As a matter of fact you can make $50.00 just by opening a bank account with CompuBank thru Going Platinum. You are mistaken about the fees being deducted before you earn enough to pay them. The affiliate program is optional and will always be optional. The set up is when a person earns $25.00 in commissions thru their use of the internet, they will be given the option of joining the affiliate program with that $25.00. They are under no obligation to do so. They can decline the *opportunity* and take the money instead. So signing up for free and possibly taking the free $50.00 bank dividend is my recommendation at this point. What do you have to lose? Going Platinum has released a snapshot of what their opening page will look like once it is launched. I like it. Take a look... http://www.goingplatinum.com/gpcpreview.html Jim |

Hey Jim,
I was the one who first advertised Going Platinum on these boards. And yes, I got torn up by everyone too... You are not alone! :-) Although, I got a few people who did sign up and have done very well with getting referrals themselves, so it was well worth it. For the people that think Going Platinum is a scam, here are a few reasons it is not: 1. Going Platinum is FREE to sign up. You can choose an option to pay a ONE-TIME fee of $25 to join the affiliate program (Completely Optional). This $25 is completely refundable!!! If you are not satisfied with their product (Free ISP) then you can get a refund. There have been people that have chosen to do this. 2. Going Platinum requires the use of your social security number to report your a$$ to the IRS. Yea, yea, I know this sucks, but on contrary this is very good! At the end of the year, you will receive the IRS form 1099. This means GP is very legal. All of your earnings are reported and taxed at the end of the year. A typical MLM, which GP is not, would not dream of reporting earnings to the IRS - Because those MLMs are very much illegal! Does everyone remember AllAdvantage?? I do, I loved it! AllAdvantage WAS extremely popular! Even Apex was making bank with them (Remember his $1000 checks!?!) That was a legal MLM. If you wanted to make more money, you would refer people and make a certain percentage from them surfing the internet. Going Platinum is no different!!! You refer people to GP's free ISP and the more you use it the more they pay you. The more people you refer, the more money you make from them! 3. I have already been paid by Going Platinum THREE times!!!! I've made over $200 from them already and my payments are only going up! Want proof?? Here is my first check. I hope that is proof enough... For some people this will not be, but for some it may. Jim, I will see you on the cruise! Laterz people, Brantley [Edited by Brantley on 01-13-2001 at 06:15 PM] |

Hello Brantly,
It is so good to hear a friendly voice in here. Your check picture should be proof positive to a lot of doubters. Unfortunately, I won't have anything to show since my payments are deposited directly into my CompuBank account. Thanks for the visual aid. Are you Gold yet? How many Bronze levels? Thanks again, Jim |

I certainly hope all the Got Apex members can see that these posts from Jim and Brantley are so fake it's hilarious. They're the same person trying to drum up interest in this silly company.
I could be wrong, but these posts sure read silly. |
