sorry you feel that way - i have found some really good deals there and tons of freebies. as a matter of fact i just got today's mail and had three packages - all of which were deals i paid rock bottom prices for and all of which were found there.

i wasn't the one that started this thread - so apparently not everybody at apex shares your view. i am thankful for that, too, because a lot of apex members make great posts at the other site.

apparently you find faults with alot of posts so my feelings aren't hurt.

Hey netlady, I wasn't trying to hurt anyone's feelings. I guess my point is that I'm wondering just when contests became deals. For example, compared to getting a really good scanner for free at Staples, entering a contest to win a crappy one doesn't make the cut in my estimation. But others' mileage may vary. Any chance your next post won't point to seepu or involve a contest? I'll wait and watch.

I can understand bongos concern...seepu, has been spamming lots and lots of boards...anyway...I was gonna suggest moving this to the contest forum, but that it's disappeared...and I personally don't think contests are hot deals...Hot deals are things you can share, and contests by nature you can't really share...

Well, I just got here to see the comments made, and I'll say you guys are off base. I've been checking out www.seepu.com site and they seem like real friendly ppl which is saying a lot compared to the rudeness of the ppl on other sites. This site is far from mediocre, seems to be brand new is all. Plus the speaker and scanner contest is very legit and the odds are great. I'll post again when I WIN!

I don't think anyone doubts the legitimacy of the contests. I just think that a contest is not a deal, even one with "great" odds. What I find ironic is that you profess to want to win the contest, and yet you keep bringing attention to the site. Seems to me that the more times you post the URL (therefore INCREASING entries into the contest), the more you are PERSONALLY diminishing the odds YOU have to win! Smells like a fish.
