Want more traffic? Recommendation from a veteran forum member

I was recommended to use something called Traffic Swarm to get my page (that's in my signature) to get more hits, and thus getting me off of the conga lines and getting everyone else up to bat on them.

http://www.trafficswarm.com/go.cgi?291927

Here's what I did to start getting more hits on my site:
1. I signed up for a free account
2. Visited about 25 links to get 50 "credits", then they gave me 100 more as a bonus for activating my account
3. Once I got that 150 credits, I had 22 hits from that time till today, about 1 day's time. I've surfed to up to 250 credits now, and I've gotten 47 more hits since yesterday. I guess the more credits you have, the more often they promote your link.

Anyway, if you have a site you want to promote and a few minutes here or there to click on some links, I've found this is a good service. You can use my link above if you want to help me out (which will get me off the conga lines sooner) Or you can go to the website without my referral. Either way, it's a good service, check it out

I noticed that someone signed up, and within 15 minutes had their 50 credits (and got 100 bonus for activiting).

Thanks Let me know how you like it

Hmmm, i'm not really sure what you mean...

You could use www.gotapex.com as the site to promote, which would get Apex more hits...

It's for personal and business sites of your choice, so if you're the creator of the site and you sign up, you'll benefit.

All right, I've gotten 421 hits TODAY, with 2 more hours in the day left. I wasn't prepared for this! But I thought I would share these actual results, because I never thought I'd get more than 100 in a day.

EDIT: just hit 500 for one day

have any of those links actually turned into green referrals, or even signups?

Getting a lot of traffic is one thing, getting actual signups is another...

I've gotten 3 green referrals out of this -- 2 for OfferCentric MP3 player site and 1 for FreeFlatScreens.com... a TON of people have signed up for it (but not yet completed an offer), but I have their referral locked in, so if they decide to complete one, I got it

When your page gets displayed over 2000 times for free, I call it a success!

Hey, so do you have any other tracker hit tracker? I'm just wondering how many hits you have to your website in general, and how many hits you have from that traffic swarm...
(yes, i signed up)

Updated stats:

it's been about 15 days and I've gotten 2500 more hits approximately.

att -- the only place I have my link is in my AIM profile, which gets maybe 1 or 2 hits a day on average, and at the moment, Traffic Swarm is all I use.

so i signed up, and have been using it...
but that picture there...that's not the number of hits your getting...that's the number of times your link was displayed on somebody's homepage of links.

they don't seem to have a great way of figuring out who actualy clicks the link to your site...so i've installed some free counter scripts..l have about 150 hits from that page since I started....averaging about 5-10 a day.

not bad, but not quite the gaudy numbers you're suggesting it gets you.

Yeah, I noticed that. My hit counter on my actual page is 3600, and the site says 5000 now. So I'm getting about 70% accuracy.
