Stamps.com gives you free postage to print out using bar codes..the promo for the buy.com GC, printer and palm ends 8/31, info can be seen here:

just going to www.stamps.com will not get you the deal and the extra free postage, the bonus link below must be used. you'll get $10 EXTRA free postage ON TOP of the $20 or $40 free they normally give you for joining - so you will get $30 FREE under the simple plan and $50 FREE (and the free scale, which sells on ebay for $30-40!) under the Power plan!

You can CANCEL within 29 days with NO CHARGES AT ALL. If you want to get the scale and cancel, they now charge you if you cancel in the first month....

SOLUTION: keep the service for 2 months IF you want the scale, and switch from the "power plan" to the simple plan during the first month. You will pay $15.99 for first month, $1.99 for second month ($17.98 in all). Or just signup for the simple pan, get the $30 in free postage, and cancel anytime the first month w/no charges (or $1.99/month after that)

I agree, this really is a great DEAL. The free postage alone is great. I also received $50 and a $100 Buy.com certificate. I signed up on July 3rd for the service, got my 5 referrals within three weeks and received my $50 and GC last week.

I fully intended on getting my free postage and then quitting, but I really like the service and will continue using it (I sell junk on eBay, it makes shipping packages very easy.)

I'd rather you use me for a referral, but I guess freenet started this thread!
