Does anyone know where I can buy a Sony MiniDisc player online (for a reasonable price, of course)? I've looked everywhere and I can only find aiwa players. Most players start at $199 and up. Is there any better alternative?
my 1st post, btw, so be gentle w/ me ;-p thnx |

What type are you looking for, a home unit (component) or a portable unit? Also, if you want a portable, do you want it to be recordable? Depending on what you want, there are different models that would fulfill you needs. Depending on where you look you can often find an "open box" deals in the stores. For example, where i work we had a return on a portable because "I just wanted to see what a minidisc player was like." The kid had it for a day, and since its such a small piece we are going to have to send it for 20% less than it would be "new" in the box. So its a good way of saving money. That being said, you can search online for low prices but for the most part all the ones I have seen are about MSRP.
