Question

Has anybody had any bad experiences to share with Cyberrebate.com. They have some good deals but the prices seem to be highly inflated. For example the Sound Spa Traveler Portable Alarm they are selling for $110.99, I have seen at my local Sam's Club for $29.95. Yes, it is exactly the same. They have several other items that are highly over priced. I would like toorder the Cobra Protable CB radio for $189.00 with a $189.00 rebate. I guess I am just a little hesitant to send them $200 and wait and hope I ever see the rebate in my life time.

Most people have no problems getting the rebate, but there have been a few problems. However, we've never failed to get the problems solved. We just got a really good relationship with one of the affiliate managers there so they take good care of their GotApex customers.

Granted that in the end, I did get my $300 in rebates back, it took SIX, count them SIX months rather than their 3 months (12weeks) as promised. In fact I contacted them after the 5th month to see if I should send in my photocopied rebates and the lady was nice enough to actually clear me so that it would be ok to send my rebates even though they hadn't actually received them (or so they said).

I was dumb enough to get lured into the FREE FREE FREE after rebate thing so unless they have something that you really really want, it's not worth it. If you spend $25 and 4 months later you never got your check, most people would be too lazy to try to get that "small" amount of money back.

I have four completed orders from CyberRebate and got back all of my money, about $1300. My first order had a kink that was very quickly fixed by our own Gotapex. After that one problem, I have had no more problems. I chalk that problem up because I think CyberRebate was new and things go smoother now. The rebates take the full time that CyberRebate states clearly, about three and a half months and not longer for me. Many things are over priced, but many are priced fairly. I got three great and one fair binoculars for gifts, well worth the money. Most of the thing I got were very good quality even if some were overpriced. I would, and will order more in the future, but be sure to click through Gotapex so if there are problems, you can get them corrected easily.
