International deals
Anyone know if the deals from the G/A front page can be applied to foreign countries with the appropriate exchange rate? I've got a friend in Ireland who wants to buy a new Dell Laptop.
Thanks.

I don't see why not. Shipping may not be free or something....perhaps the powers that be, the great overlords of the deals can shed some light....Or perhaps I just need sleep. H |

I'm 99% sure you cannot buy at one Dell location & have it shipped to another, since Dell is a different business unit in each country (tried before - no go).
You can always have him buy the machine & have it shipped to you, and then you ship to him. However, he'll probably have a hard time getting service in Ireland if something goes wrong. |
